Lottery Timeline:

Barnette Magnet School's 2026-2027 Lottery application will open January 15, 2026, and run through March 16, 2026.

Lottery results will be sent to parents on March 25, 2026.

At this time, we will pre-seat 40 kindergarten students. 

No students in grades 1-8 will be presented in the lottery.

 

PARENTS WILL HAVE 48 Hours to respond if they are selected through the lottery. 

Create or log in to your parent/guardian account at https://lottery.k12northstar.org to view applications and their current status, opening and closing dates, etc. Upcoming lotteries and other applications will be posted prior to the start of their application window.
